extension voicemail password corrupted on non numeric input

I have seen recently that it is possible to define a non numeric password for voicemail. This password does not work when signing in to user portal and cannot be dialed on normal phone keypad.

While trying to reproduce this, I found that entering a non number password corrupted the data. The value > was stored to the database for voicemail password, voicemail email and pager. These values were visible when the page refreshed after the save.

This was tried with firefox. The error console indicated a javascript error isEmail does not exist.
