Pressing *1 during an outgoing call to start recording does work (I am using W in outbound dial command in general options), the .wav files are in /var/spool/asterisk/monitor. However, the ARI does not display the recording in the "Call Monitor" section.
All works fine and recording shows up in ARI if the recorded call was inbound.
