Script asterisk-version-switch requires asterisk to be running

      Description

      When attempting to run the script, asterisk-verision-swith without asterisk running, you get the following:

      [root@uc-68246819 ~]# asterisk-version-switch
Unable to connect to remote asterisk (does /var/run/asterisk/asterisk.ctl exist?)

      It's conceivable that admins will need to install or reinstall asterisk that will not start, can we remove this restriction please, or run the check and verify to admin that they want to continue?
