Recently the Intrusion Detection function was essentially moved to the firewall module (rather, it's ability to be controlled was moved to the firewall module). Although I agree with the concept of ID being more appropriately associated with the firewall module, I don't use (nor do I want) the Firewall Module (causes way too many problems and buggy behavior with our deployments). As such, we now are forced to install it, run through a bogus setup, and disable it - merely to get control of Fail2Ban back. With firewall disabled, this is now showing an error on the dashboard that Firewall is Disabled. Although that's true, it's not the error the dashboard suggests. So, there needs to be the option to disable dashboard display of firewall status, or when intentionally disabled, it needs to know to remove itself from the dashboard as to not misrepresent an error that isn't really an error.
