Creating a bug report based on a topic I opened on the community forum: https://community.freepbx.org/t/queue-only-play-announcement-when-users-are-logged-in/71441/6
It seems that the "join empty" option isnt working. I have configured a queue with the "join-empty" option set to "No" and explicitely no active Members.
No matter what I fiddle about with the join-empty options, the caller hears the join announcement. In this case what happens is:
- The Call gets picked up by the inbound route
- Gets routed to a “Welcome” announcement
- Gets routed to my Queue which has a “Join Announcement”. This announcement gets played, even when I have the “Join Empty” set to No and no Members in the queue
- After this join announcement is played, the call automatically is routed to the Failover destination because there are no agents in my queue.
A "queue show 500" (the queue number is 500) shows the following result:
500 has 0 calls (max unlimited) in 'ringall' strategy (0s holdtime, 0s talktime), W:0, C:0, A:0, SL:0.0%, SL2:0.0% within 60s No MembersNo Callers
