Since we upgraded ConnectWise Manage to v2019.4 our caller Id has not been able to pull numbers. After updating to the latest FreePBX update in our current track (I see 15 is now released) the issue remains.
I pulled connection logs on our CW server and found the URL the phone server is trying to connect with and tried it in a browser and I get one of the two following errors.
Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation. ---> Username or password is incorrect
Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation. ---> Incorrect or disabled client ID
After contacting CW support they have advised me of the following:
The integrator login uses our 2.0 SOAP API, which is no longer supported. You will want to use the API member instead, which uses the 3.0 REST API.
Based on the error, it appears as though your integration does not include a client Id value. Please ask the creator of your integration to reach out to platform@connectwise.com
and visit https://developer.connectwise.com/clientId for more details. Client Ids are a form of authorization for integrations and are a required field in the API announced in October 2018. The integration you are using is either not patched properly, or has not been updated to use client Id. We do not have anything on our side that we can do, the integrator must make this change.
If Updating to FreePBX 15 will correct the issue I will schedule it sooner than later. Otherwise I am willing to be a guinea pig for any potential fixes.
On a side note the settings in the GUI do not like to save when you click save.
