Hello,
This is an email we got from one of our customers in response to a bug in the calendar feature. Settings any hours on a Monday don't propagate on the First/Second Monday's in the calendar in future years for the month of November only. He was able to manually add it for this year, but every year going forward, it appears to be missing. Would you mind taking taking a look into this?
_"The calendars are working great overall now, however, as I was reviewing the “Business Open” calendar I noticed that although I had propagated our open hours settings for Mondays to perpetually reoccur across all Mondays into the future, it turned out that on one specific Monday, namely the first Monday of November, it did NOT register the propagation (but it did for all other Mondays of the year. I then scrolled forward through the next few years to ensure that there were no missing propagations and discovered that the propagation was perfect for every Monday of every year EXCEPT FOR THE FIRST MONDAY OF EVERY NOVEMBER!
I then discovered that this was true of EVERY calendar I set up with propagation (see for example the “Business-Open”, “Light-CC-Team”, “Moderate-CC-Team” and “Full-CC-Team” calendars).
Of course, I went ahead and made the appropriate manual “one-off” entries for each calendar for this coming first Monday of November; but if you look at the following years for all four calendars I just mentioned, you’ll see that an early November Monday for every year going forward did not “take” the propagation.
Obviously, this is a very weird anomaly that the software company needs to remedy. Let me know what you find out."_
