On a system with hundreds of extensions (500+), new extensions take several minutes to submit.

On several production system and now on 2 different test systems, one where a Bulk Import was performed on a fresh install and the other where I literally hand entered every single extension via the GUI on another fresh install...once you get past 400-500 extensions, things crawl to a halt when adding a new extension. There is nothing all that obvious being generated in the freepbx debug or httpd logs during these periods of waiting. The browser simply waits for several minutes for a response from the server after clicking Submit.

Rebooting the server will sometimes get the GUI adding extensions faster, but it lasts only an extension or 3 before slowing to a crawl again. The holdup happens between clicking Submit and the Extensions page loading. Delays of up to 5 minutes are experienced.

Included are tails of some logs, but there isn't any obvious signs of the cause; these get generated immediately upon submit and then total log silence until the page reloads with the list of extensions several minutes later. These same entries are also present when adding the first of the extensions when there is no delay in submission. No additional output is produced in any log during the long wait period, so I have no idea where to look next. Been hunting for nearly a month for any indication of a cause (and hoping some module update fixing the issue while addressing some other bug). 

The realization that a freshly installed system with all manually entered extensions (no additional modules/licenses/etc installed either) still hits this wall after a few hundred extensions is leading me to believe this is some sort of validation loop run amuck. I don't recall an issue like this in FreePBX 13 and I don't think this was happening in v14 until maybe 6-8 month ago (this was the first time someone mentioned such a long delay, before I started investigating it). One of the production systems was upgraded Distro 10 to 12 in-place, but the other production system and the fresh installs for testing were Distro 12 from the start and exhibit the same symptom.
