Yealink V83 firmware supports the variable account.x.label. This variable displays a "label" on the phone that is intended to be the extension name, not the extension number.
EPM, seemingly correct, identified the basefile config id of "account.1.label" to be mapped to "_line1Name_". This should then place "John Smith" in the upper left corner of the display. It, however, displays the extension and not the extension name. We confirmed by "hard setting" a name, that the name then does appear - showing us that the Yealink firmware does indeed work as it is designed.
Can EPM please by updated to have "_line1Name_" actually pull the name instead of the extension number?
