      Description

      sysadmin 13.0.74.2

When configuring external email delivery using Gmail, i noticed that the following files were not being written by system admin on submit:

      /etc/postfix/sasl_passwd
      /etc/postfix/sasl_passwd.db

Since both are required for Gmail delivery, outbound email fails when these files are not written. Since I had an identical system using Gmail successfully, this posed a mystery, until I realized that parameters configured for "Other" provider were preventing sysadmin for generating correct config for "Gmail' provider.

      Steps to reproduce:

      • On a system with properly working Gmail delivery, click the Other provider button and disable Use Auth and/or Use TLS.
      • Click the Gmail provider button to go back to gmail
      • click submit

Outbound mail through gmail will now fail. Reverse the steps above and submit to fix.
