Add option to to have voicemail notifiy not mark voicemail as old

Our salesman use the VM notify to receive notifications of voicemail while out of the office. The issue is once VM notify calls out, the message is marked as old, regardless if the call is answered or the message is accepted. Is there any chance is adding the option to leave the message marked as new, and/or leave it as new and give an option for the person accepting the call to mark it as old or leave it in the new box.
